Because Carnoustie is on Route 1 of the National Cycle Network we have decided to have a page of useful information just for cyclists. Linksview Guest House is just 5 yards from Route 1 which passes through St Andrews, Dundee and on to Arbroath, Montrose and further north. We have been pleased to welcome cyclists in groups, as couples and as individuals in 2011. We even had Andy from Connecticut with his custom built bicycle in a suitcase!

We have secure garage storage for cycles so don’t worry about your equipment being stolen and ruining your vacation.

The hot drink on arrival and drying facilities may be something you also need and welcome. After all, no one comes to Scotland for the weather!

We belong to the Visit Scotland Tourist Board Cyclists Welcome Scheme. This means that we provide:

• Drying and secure storage facilities (under cover)
• Hot drink on arrival
• The offer of a filled flask
• Early breakfast from 07:00 if required
• Information on local cycling routes and public transport
• Weather information
